This year’s Green Schools Committee are busy working on acquiring our fourth Green flag which is based around the theme of travel. This theme aims to increase the number of students walking, cycling, using public transport or carpooling to school. We recently had a visit from Karen Moore from An Taisce who is our travel guru helping us and giving us ideas how to go about getting this flag. We had a walkabout in the locality and we were looking at the potential for more sustainable travel to school, most notably”Park and Stride”.
