Second class went for a nature walk around the school grounds recently. We had great fun examining tree and flower buds. We saw ploughed fields with grass seed starting to grow. We picked some lovely spring daffodils. We were even lucky enough to hear a blackbird singing a few tunes!

Junior Infants have been busy with a garden theme lately. They enjoy shopping at our role play garden centre, they keep busy designing a garden in the sand tray and constructing their dream garden with blocks, flowers etc. Next stop “Bloom” in the Phoenix Park!

We are delighted to have Jason O’Shaughnessy back for our 6 week Cycle Safety session with everybody from 3rd to 5th Class. Many thanks to Laois County Council for subsidising the programme.
