All classes were busy during Science Week this year. Magnetism was explored, lava lamps were created, properties of materials were examined and electric circuits were created. At the end of the week we visited 5th Class who had worked very hard preparing many experiments which they presented to us in a fun and engaging manner. Check out some of our work!
In November, We Remember.
RatheniskaDuring the month of November, many classes have been remembering loved ones who have passed away. 2nd Class have their very own Remembrance Tree, under which they light a candle each morning as they say a prayer for members of their extended families who are not with them any longer.
Gym Kids
RatheniskaJunior and Senior Infants have started our six-week gymnastics session in Portlaoise. Under the watchful eyes of the team in the Gymnastics Club, we are stretching, rolling, twisting and exercising and enjoying every minute of our classes.
