Throughout term 2 and 3, 5th and 6th class have been undertaking the tough, yet fun and enjoyable, challenge of running 3K. At the beginning we were able to run 1 lap of the football grounds, which was just short of a kilometre. But now, after a lot of hard work and persistence, we can run a whole 3K! As a reward the children were given a present of a hoody with all the names of the children who took part on the back. Well done to all the boys and girls of 5th and 6th class. It is a great achievement and you should be very proud of yourselves. I hope this is the start of a healthy, active lifestyle for you all. Remember- the most important project you’ll ever work on is you!

Raithín an Uisce Abú
RatheniskaThe hurling season is in full swing at the moment and both boys and girls are training hard and doing very well in their respective competitions. They were delighted when the Parents’ Council presented them with a brand new set of jerseys. They, and many others in the years to come, will wear them proudly.
The Taming of the Shrew!
RatheniskaWhat a surprise everyone got when heading over to the pitch yesterday! Out popped a tiny shrew to see who was invading his habitat! Most of us had never seen a shrew before so it was an unexpected biology lesson at first hand!
