On Saturday last, May 21st, the boys and girls from Rang 2 gathered together with their families to celebrate the Sacrament of the Eucharist in the Church of the Holy Cross in Ratheniska. Fr Ciprian welcomed the congregation and guided the children through the ceremony. Thank you to Fr Ciprian for officiating, to Brian and Caroline for the Readings and Prayers of the Faithful, to Fr Theo for his assistance during the ceremony, to the pupils from 3rd to 6th for their wonderful singing under the leadership of Louise and Ms Dunne and, of course, to Mrs O’Byrne for preparing the children for their special day.
