Junior and Senior Infants went on a field trip to the woods outside  the grounds of Emo Court last week. Having gotten over the excitement of heading off on the bus together, we set about the real reason for our trip – exploring and searching for signs of Autumn. We knew what we were looking for , having discussed the theme of Autumn in recent weeks. We hunted for and found beech nuts, oak leaves, fungi and much more. We kicked up lots of leaves, climbed fallen trees and had our lunch in our beautiful surroundings.
