Fifth Class have been busy since they came back to school learning about famine time in Ireland. They got together in groups and set about researching the cause of the famine and the effects it had in Ireland. They discussed the potato blight, the soup kitchens, Black ’47 and much more. They got their projects typed up and enjoyed presenting them to their classmates and displaying them in the classroom.
