Science Week arrived in Ratheniska and enquiring minds were busy at work investigating, predicting and observing. The boys and girls in 3rd Class were busy investigating light and got to grips with bulbs, batteries and circuits. There was lots of lava flowing in 4th Class, while in 5th Class, the brief was to present an experiment based on a water theme. All other classes had the opportunity to examine the experiments and even try out making quicksand, watching rain form in a glass, seeing water “walk” and many others.
