As the time approaches for the M.S. Readathon, we had a visit recently from the local Schools’ Ambassador for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pat Dwyer. During his visit to 3rd and 4th classes, he told us a lot about Multiple Sclerosis and how it affects people’s daily lives. Two interesting facts were that some people get blurred vision at times while others may have limited use of their hands. We had great fun experimenting what this would be like by trying to read with glasses smeared with Vaseline and trying to tie our laces with gloves on!
