Many thanks to all the parents and children who supported our recent raffle in aid of school funds. We all gathered at the front of the school on the first day of the term and the suspense was palpable as each winner was chosen. A special word of thanks for the kind donation of two of the prizes.
In Senior Infants have been learning all about Poland recently. We were really delighted when we got the chance to sample some Polish cuisine which one of our classmates brought in to share with us. All the food went down a treat with everyone!
4th, 5th and 6th classes are progressing very well with their training towards the now annual 3k run which will take place later in term 3. They go on a practice run twice a week and are encouraged all the way by Mr Conway, Mr Ryan, Ms Sugrue and Ms Morrissey.
