As part of our ongoing Safety for Children programme, we had our annual visit from some of the members of the local Fire Brigade. This time it was 3rd Class who had the pleasure of having them in their classroom. They learned lots about the work of the firemen and how to keep fire safety a priority in our homes at all times and especially in the run-up to Halloween.
The value of a healthy breakfast was a topic for discussion today in Rang 6 where some of the class researched, prepared and served up dishes of delicious creamy porridge to all of their classmates. A selection of fresh berries added to the experience and the clean bowls were testament to their enjoyment!. The fact that it was World Porridge Day also made it extra special!
