We recently organised a visit to the school by author Jackie Burke who read from her series of books -“The Secrets of Grindlewood”. Jackie’s books are inspired by her love of  nature; gardens, forests, wildlife and especially cats and dogs. The children from 3rd to 6th classes were held captive by Jackie’s lively and entertaining reading. All enjoyed the Q&A session at the end and the children got the chance to have their own copies of the book signed by the author. Click here to find out more about Grindlewood.
